It appears that you have the right idea and home based businesses are expected to increase significantly over the next five years due to the economy. Now the misconception is that anyone can succeed online, that you establish a website and boom, you're rich. There is no such thing as get rich quick. Since you are very young and a stay at home mother when in fact most 17 year olds are in high school, you are presented with many challenges. I am assuming your child is very young and your first priority should be this child. Now with all that being said, do you have any passions in life? What are you most interested in and can carry a conversation about for days? You need to first start by looking at what your interests are and go from there. Perhaps you have an interest that could potentially become a business? Please remember that you lack experience in the business world and job world for that matter. There are very few successful teenage entrepreneurs, I'm not saying you couldn't be one of them but dig deep. You can legally start an online business if you were 12, I think I've read that the youngest entrepreneur was age 5. Age doesn't matter, what matter is that you have a great idea and are dedicated to making it work. It may take years of hard work or may take you six months. The proof is in the pudding. |
