Question: Do a home business pays business property tax?

Hi guys I started my home base business as a graphic designer about one year ago and I was surprise when I got "Business Property statement for 2010 " what really concerns me is that the assessor's office tax me twice for using my home as my work place any advice on how to fill form 571L specfically where it says "do you own the land at this business location? If yes is the name on your deed recorded as shown on this statement? " thank you in advance for your help and have an excellent day |
